Golden Gate International Children's & Youth Choral Festival

The Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir is pleased to host the 8th Golden Gate International Children's and Youth Choral Festival from July 13-18, 2009. Top American and international choirs will once again gather for an unforgettable week of rehearsals, public performances, friendly competition, and cultural exchange.

The Festival welcomes the renowned Finnish choir Vox Aurea as featured guest artists, under the direction of conductor Pekka Kostiainen. Celebrated conductor Bob Chilcott will lead the massed choirs, and a distinguished panel of international judges will preside over the competitions.
