Joining the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir
The Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir offers Placement Interviews for prospective new students twice per year, in September and January. We have 12 choirs to serve a variety of ages and experience levels. Please call the office (510-547-4441) or click here to schedule an appointment.
Participation in Pre-KinderChoir or KinderChoir does not require a placement interview; however, please fill out the audition request form as the first step in registration. By filling out the form, you will be communicating your interest to us, and providing us with your contact information so that we can provide you with the information you need.
Beginning singers, in first grade and older, should schedule a placement interview so that our staff may assess the child's vocal abilities and prior musical training, if any. These brief sessions are conducted in small groups to put children at ease, recognizing that this may be a child's first audition experience.
Once admitted to the Choir, each student is placed in a group appropriate for his/her age and level of experience.
