Amy McKenzie


Amy McKenzie is a founding member of PEBCC. She grew up in Piedmont and graduated from Piedmont High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Music with Performer’s Certificate from Eastman School of Music and her Master’s of Music from Holy Names University. She first began teaching voice at PEBCC camp in the summer after her freshman year of college and hasn’t stopped since! She is a Master Voice teacher at Piedmont High School and has taught at The Head Royce School in the after school program. In addition to teaching, Amy has sung with San Francisco Opera Chorus for 10 seasons. She has been a soloist with WomenSing and Golden Gate Men’s Chorus and a member of Volti. She lives in Piedmont with her husband, Tom, and two sons, Scott and Nate. Amy is grateful to have been a part of the PEBCC family for 34 years!
