Monday-Tuesday: The Flight across Greenland

OK, you can go to bed now, it is 2:15 AM in CA, 11:15 AM in Frankfurt. We are on terra firma, good-night, read the rest of this in the morning.

So what was the long flight like... a 50 teenager pajama party, with three movies, catered food, games, a confined space, much giggling, and nearly an hour and a half negotiating seating arrangements with each other and random passengers. The sun never set the whole flight. Just a very long day. Because we landed after midnight CA time, there had been little sleep, but it was a great party.

As we left the plane, we were rather groggy and feeling the effects of being up in the middle of our night. Stumbling our way through the airport we were somewhat befuddled by the sunny morning (temp of 68/20C) and hundreds of bright, cheerful people all seemingly in command of their faculties. It was disconcerting.

The party-goers found their way to gate B2 at Frankfurt airport and are now sleeping all over the floor in the gate area. Practice starts in 5 minutes, the next flight in 1.5 hrs, then we will have 5 hrs on a bus... much napping I suspect.

The next 2 days will be rehearsals for the Attacca Project with the Carmena Slovenica choir which will meet us in Croatia.

We will do our best to keep you informed.
