Finance Director (Part-Time, Hybrid)
Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir (PEBCC) seeks a strategic, detail-oriented Finance Director to oversee the financial health and compliance of the organization. This role manages accounting, budgeting, payroll, HR support, and office operations, while helping ensure sustainability and efficiency across departments. The ideal candidate has nonprofit finance experience and a passion for supporting youth through music. This is a part-time, fractional/contract role (approx. 20 hours/week) with hybrid flexibility in the Bay Area.
Tour Chaperone
PEBCC is looking for responsible adult Tour Chaperones to accompany Ensemble singers to Poland in Summer 2026, as well as accompany Concert Choir singers to San Diego, this SPRING 2026. Tour chaperones are volunteer roles whose travel, room and board are covered by the Choirs. Chaperones are vital members of the tour staff who provide supervision, support, and comfort to singers on tour. They must be proactive in resolving interpersonal issues, able to identify social, emotional, or health problems before they escalate, and work as a team to ensure safety and team sustainability and wellness while traveling. Tour chaperones must have experience and enthusiasm for working with youth ages 10-18 and be willing and able to provide a safe, inclusive environment for singers at all times.
Summer Lead
The Summer Lead (SL) is responsible for assisting in the coordination & execution of PEBCC’s annual sleepaway camp and the Golden Gate International Children’s and Youth Choral Festival. The SL will supervise and support youth singers during travel, festival events, and at camp - to provide consistency and build trust with singers over the summer across multiple PEBCC events. We are looking for organized, dedicated, and flexible individuals who are willing and able to manage multiple projects at once, and to provide safe and equitable environments, programs, and services that meet the specific needs of singers. This is a unique part-time summer employment opportunity July 6 - August 11, 2026, for those seeking experience in logistical planning for kid-centered events, office administration, concert production, leadership, childcare, and/or event management.
Camp Counselor
PEBCC’s Choir Camp (July 26 - Aug 7, 2026) is a sleepaway summer camp located at Walker Creek Ranch in Petaluma, and we are currently hiring Camp Counselors for the Summer of 2026. Camp Counselors are integral members of the camp staff and provide supervision, support, and comfort to the campers. Counselors may also serve as musicianship teachers and activity leaders, among other tasks. Counselors must have excellent childcare skills and be willing and able to provide a safe environment for campers at all times. We are looking for dedicated individuals who strike a unique balance of fun, skill, and responsibility.
Crafts & Activities Lead
The Crafts and Activities Lead (CAL) is a key member of the camp staff who provides supervision and project management for all afternoon recreation and craft activities. The CAL will be responsible for planning a daily craft activity and a daily active recreation activity, securing necessary supplies, and overseeing the projects with assistance from the Camp Director and other staff. They should be experienced in leading games, crafts, and activities. We are looking for dedicated individuals who strike a unique balance of fun, skill, and responsibility and who are excited to bring their own creativity and energy to designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for young people - while helping to supervise and support Counselor staff.
Camp Health Supervisor
As Camp Health Supervisor (CHS), you would implement our standing healthcare procedures and provide care for campers aged 7 - 15. This includes administering treatments or daily medication as specified, providing first aid care as necessary, maintaining individual campers' health records and the camp medical log, and referring sick campers for appropriate professional medical attention, among other tasks. Applicant must be a physician or registered nurse licensed to practice in the state of California, or a person who has met the requirements for this position as outlined by the state of CA statute (see qualification details). Must be onsite at PEBCC’s Choir Camp (July 26 - Aug 7, 2026) located at Walker Creek Ranch in Petaluma.
