Camp Counselor
Do you have a passion for music and working with kids? PEBCC’s Choir Camp is seeking Camp Counselors for the Summer of 2027. Camp Counselors are integral members of the camp staff who provide supervision, support, and comfort to campers. Counselors may also serve as musicianship teachers and activity leaders, among other tasks. Counselors must have excellent childcare skills and be willing and able to provide a safe environment for campers at all times. We are looking for dedicated individuals who strike a unique balance of fun, skill, and responsibility, who are excited to collaborate in a team-oriented and fast-paced outdoor environment.
We are seeking Joyful Voices counselors, to supervise our youngest campers age 7 - 11, in addition to Performing Department counselors to supervise Concert Choir and Ensemble Campers aged 10 - 15. We are also seeking Coda Camp Counselors, who would supervise and support our older teenage “counselors-in-training” as they learn to take on responsibility and mentor younger singers.

Tour Chaperone
PEBCC is seeking responsible adult Tour Chaperones to accompany singers on tour this Summer 2027. Tour chaperones are volunteer roles whose travel, room and board are covered by the Choirs.
Chaperones are vital members of the tour staff who provide supervision, support, and comfort to singers on tour. They must be proactive in resolving interpersonal issues, able to identify and address social, emotional, or health problems before they escalate, and work as a team to ensure safety and team sustainability and wellness while traveling. Tour chaperones must have experience and enthusiasm for working with youth ages 10-18 and be willing and able to provide a safe, inclusive environment for singers at all times.

Crafts and Activities Lead
Do you enjoy the outdoors, recreation, and arts & crafts? Are you passionate about mentoring and working with kids and young adults?
The Crafts and Activities Lead (CAL) is a key member of the camp staff who provides supervision and project management for all afternoon recreation and craft activities. The CAL will be responsible for planning a daily craft activity and a daily active recreation activity, securing necessary supplies, and overseeing the projects with assistance from the Camp Director and other staff. They should have strong planning and organizational skills, as well as experienced in leading games, crafts, and activities.
CAL must have excellent childcare skills and be willing and able to provide a safe environment for campers at all times, providing firm and clear instruction while maintaining a positive and caring attitude. In addition to their main role, they will coordinate counselors with the implementation and execution of other camp activities, and provide additional supervision and support.
