The 2026 Golden Gate International Children's and Youth Choral Festival will be an unforgettable week of concerts, competitions, special events, and cultural exchange. In a world filled with borders, the Golden Gate Festival helps children to build bridges. The Golden Gate Bridge symbolizes the connection of two worlds - travel, conversation, and understanding between cultures. From July 13-18, 2026, ten participating choirs from around the world and 4 of Piedmont East Bay Children’s choirs will sing, learn, and live with their peers from far and wide, rendering the faceless into friends.
The public is invited to be part of this extraordinary week!
Join us at our Opening Sing-Off on July 13 and Closing Ceremony Concert on July 18; both are ticketed events. Audiences can also enjoy five free Spotlight Concerts presented throughout the Bay Area from July 14 - 17. In addition, everyone is invited to observe all festival competitions in Berkeley from July 14 - 16. Join us this summer in celebrating global youth in song and experience the artistry and cultural traditions each choir brings to the stage!
