Ensemble will be touring to Denmark and Sweden to participate in exchanges with several choirs in Denmark and to perform in Sweden. We will fly from San Francisco to Billund, Denmark, and proceed by bus to Herning for an exchange with the MidVest Pigekor, based in the center of Jutland (the large peninsula north of Copenhagen). While there we will have workshops, performances, sightseeing (the original Legoland is nearby) and also reconnect with the Aarhus Pigekor whom we met at Kathaumixw last summer. From there we will bus to Copenhagen where we will be hosted by another children’s choir which will arrange both performances and sightseeing for us. Then another bus ride to Stockholm where we will be based at a youth hostel and have opportunities to perform at the Sofia Church and possibly the Uppsala Cathedral and to experience the sights of Stockholm.
