Touring is one of the most exciting experiences for our Performing Department singers. Ecco travels both nationally and internationally to places all over the world, including Costa Rica, Hawaii, Utah, and Seattle to name a few. The choirs leave a trail of song wherever they travel. It is not just in concert halls they share their voices but in airports, parks, town squares and even boats. Pedestrians and passersby are treated to the lovely sound of the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir. The rigor of their training is reflected in the joy of the audience as they listen to the beauty of choral singing. In addition to having the opportunity to sing, the tours allow singers to immerse themselves into the culture they are visiting often through home stays and cultural activities planned throughout the trip. This gives our oldest singers an opportunity to showcase their musicianship on the world’s stage.
