Dear Treasured PEBCC Community,

After four wonderful years serving the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir community, the time has come for me to take the next step in my career. In the fall, I will begin a master's program in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance at Colorado University Boulder. The opportunity to teach voice lessons for your singers at camps and in rehearsals is one of the major reasons I have decided to pursue this degree, and I am so thankful to you all for allowing me to be a part of your childrens’ musical journeys.

While my official last day working for PEBCC will be July 3, I hope this is only goodbye for now. From my very first Girls Beginning 1 rehearsal in 1999 to the virtual rehearsals and concerts this spring, the choir community has brought me great joy, and I am thrilled that it continues to shape the lives of so many young people.

Thank you all for your friendships and for the music!

Until we meet again, my very best wishes,

Alice Del Simone

Dear Amazing Choir Community,

It has been a pleasure getting to know you and your wonderful children over these past couple of years. As I say goodbye, I wanted to be sure to thank you for all you've done for this community. Thank you, especially to all those spectacular volunteers from our concerts and the Galas who made all those events such successes.

The music, in hearts, will keep this community strong through these difficult times.

With Abundant Gratefulness,
Beth Hooper
