PEBCC is thrilled to welcome one of Japan’s leading children’s choirs, Wakayama Children’s Choir, under the direction of Mr. Haruhiko Numamaru. Founded in 1958, the choir has made over 30 international concert tours throughout Asia, Europe, and North America and received critical acclaim at numerous choral competitions. Wakayama Children’s Choir will perform a varied selection of classical and Japanese folksongs, alongside an opening set by PEBCC’s Ensemble featuring Eric Tuan’s composition “Nagasaki”.
