GOLDEN GATE FESTIVAL 2026 COMPETITIONS

The Golden Gate International Children’s and Youth Choral Festival remains the only opportunity for children’s and youth choirs to meet and compete on an international field in the United States. Come watch 11 incredible choirs from nine countries engage in friendly musical competition during the festival week of July 13-18th. Competing groups will showcase their artistry, dedication to craft, and talent within 4 distinct categories: Historical Music, Folk Music, Contemporary Music, and Gospel/Spiritual Music. Likewise, individual singers from across the world will demonstrate their vocal talents and abilities in the Children’s and Youth Vocal Solo categories. All Competitions will be evaluated by an esteemed international jury of adjudicators. Scoring will be done using the recognized international system of points for bronze, silver, and gold standings.
