The 2026 Golden Gate International Children’s and Youth Choral Festival culminates in a powerful final evening celebrating excellence, artistry, and the relationships built throughout the week.

Following days of competition, selected award-winning choirs will be invited to perform in this culminating concert, sharing the repertoire that distinguished them during the Festival. These featured performances represent the highest level of achievement across categories and showcase the remarkable depth and diversity of choral traditions represented this year.

The concert builds toward a massed-choir presentation featuring all Festival participants: more than 400 young singers united on one stage. After a week of rehearsals, cultural exchange, homestays, and shared experiences, this combined performance reflects not only musical preparation, but the trust, understanding, and friendships formed across cultures.

The Closing Ceremony is both recognition and celebration: honoring artistic excellence while reaffirming the Festival’s core belief - when young people from different cultures live, learn, and create together, they leave not only as stronger musicians, but as more open, empathetic global citizens.
