Training 4 (T4) is the most skilled choir in the Training Department. Singers have mastered rigorous theory training and challenging repertoire in earlier Training Department levels. Now they enter intense musical study and tackle more challenging theory, as they prepare their musicianship, rehearsal and performance focus, and team building to be successful in advancing into PEBCC Performing Department Choirs.

Tuesdays, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Piedmont Community Church, Youth Chapel, Piedmont, CA
Classes begin the first week of September 2024.
In this upper level choir, Choristers in T4 will:
Study melodic sequence, intervals, and more advanced theory elements
Perform more challenging and sophisticated repertoire in 2 - 3 vocal parts
Perform works in foreign languages
Practice good vocal technique and further establish good choral singing habits
Performs in two recitals and at least two major concerts each season
T4 choristers are highly encouraged to register for Camp Joyful Voices, our 6-day sleepaway camp, in preparation for moving into Concert Choir in the future
Participate in the Fall Retreat, a day of team-building exercises and rehearsals with Concert Choir
Singers may participate in commissions and other projects
Be able to move into the Performing Department, by audition, to Concert Choir
